Electron Microscopy

The TG Electron Microscopy bundles the research and rich infrastructure of the cluster, related to sample characterization with electrons.

Contributions to QuantumFrontiers

  • Coordination of EM characterization capabilities at LUH, PTB and TUBS
  • Stimulating exchange between the members of the TG
  • Supporting various activities with structuring and characterization possibilities as well as know-how
  • The LENA EM-group as by now provided characterization and/or structuring services to more than 20 departments in TUBS, LUH and PTB for topics including: nano-LED´s, single photon sources and controlling light-matter interaction
  • The LNQE provided TEM training and measurement time for more than 10 working groups at LUH and TUBS
  • Supporting public outreach activities with life shows on electron microscopy
