Career Development Day 2020 (with Alumni)

The Career Development Day 2020 is jointly organized by the QuantumFrontiers International Research School (QFIRS), the Braunschweig International Graduate School of Metrology (BIGSM) and the International Max Planck Research School on Gravitational Wave Astronomy (IMPRS-GW) and aims to give an insight into a wide range of career options.

Programm (preliminary):

14:00-15:20	Presentations from 4 or 5 Alumni
15:30-16:30	Breakout sessions. Participants are split into smaller groups and each group has 15 minutes to talk to an Alumna/Alumnus and ask questions. Groups switch every 15 minutes.
16:30-17:00	Social hour

Prof. Dr. Antonio Garcia Marin from AEI Hannover (Experimental Physics). Now a professor at Hochschule Bremen City University of Applied Sciences
Dr. Maike Lieser from AEI Hannover (Experimental Physics). Now a scientist at ESA
Dr. Daniel Siegel from AEI Potsdam (Theoretical Physics). Now a Assistant Professor at University of Guelph, Canada

The event follows the style of the Speed Informing Day. English language is mainly used.
