On 26 November 2024, an international panel of experts reviewed the resubmission of the Cluster of Excellence QuantumFrontiers at the DFG Head Office in Bonn. Following the submission of the renewal proposal on 22 August 2024, the review was the final step in the application process. A half-hour presentation by the Cluster speakers was followed by a discussion round and a poster session. In addition to the speakers and seven other leading scientists from the Cluster, Lower Saxony's Ministry of Science and Culture with Minister Falko Mohrs, as well as the presidencies of the three core institutions Leibniz University Hannover, TU Braunschweig and the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, supported the review process and answered questions from the 17 international reviewers. The decision on the continued funding of the cluster will be announced on 22 May 2025.
