Abstract

Josephson cantilevers are versatile sensors that are used in a THz microscopy setup for the detection of the spectrum and power of microwave and terahertz field distributions. They can be moved three-dimensionally by a positioning system to enable spatial resolution. In this work, we investigate additive manufactured spiral phase plates for the generation of twisted terahertz beams. They are fabricated with a common 3D printer based on the fused filament fabrication process. The terahertz radiation is generated by an optically pumped molecular gas laser and the resulting field distributions are imaged with the THz microscope.
