Collaborative Innovation

  • Growing single-photon sources based on GaInN/GaN quantum dot pyramidal structures, micro-luminescence investigation and confocal microscopy on these samples (Kück PTB / Hangleiter TUBS)
  • Growing single-photon sources based on molecules, specifically the preparation of C60-molecules as protective layers for dibenzoterrylene (DBT) molecules and for embedding DBT into C60 molecules (Kück PTB / Schlickum TUBS) 
  • Diamond structuring using Focused Ion Beam (FIB) methods (Kück, PTB / Etzkorn TUBS)
  • Establishing a quantum key distribution channel between LUH and PTB based on different protocols (Ding LUH / Kück PTB)
  • Investigating the properties of defects in hexagonal boron nitride. (Schell LUH / Kück PTB)
  • Advancing light extraction from quantum dots using hybrid antennas (Ding LUH / Kück PTB)
